The Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Foundation will grant an honorary award for exceptional humanitarian contribution, organize volunteer programs for doctors and medical students to help reach remote and underprivileged communities, collaborate with Tel-Hashomer medical centre on establishing the IASF simulation centre, and fund a resource centre to help those considering a profession in medicine, pharmacy and nursing. All undertakings of the Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Foundation will be conducted regardless of religion, race, gender and ethnicity.

The ceremony for the 2010 Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Humanitarian Honor Award was held at the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem. After a thorough review of all nominees, the Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Award Committee selected Dr. Dina Kamsiyya as this year’s recipient. Attendees included respected professionals from the medical industry, public figures and an official announcement by Dr. Amitai Ziv of the professional relationship between the Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Foundation and the pre-existing simulation centre at Tel-Hashomer Medical Centre.

Notice to Medical Students: The Ibrahim Adnan Saadi Foundation announces initiating volunteer opportunities for 5th and 6th year students of medicine. The foundation will cover expenses associated with involvement in this program, such as travel, lodging etc. Volunteering locations currently open: Hospitals in East Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
